Our water
Pine Harbour Living’s water supply is sourced from a sustainable aquifer with a depth of 175m. The water is unique in the area and the Crown Research Institute of Geological and Nuclear Science (GNS) found the water has a mean residence time of greater than 172 years. This and other criteria has allowed the water to achieve a secure status meaning the quality is unaffected by surface conditions. The purity of the water allows us a minimal amount of treatment and still retain the freshness. Pine Harbour Water passes all the criteria Ministry of Health NZ Water Drinking Quality Audits.
